Richard Armitage is finance director of Last Mile Logistics Ltd. (last mile deliveries using modern cargo bikes), and Cycle Waggle Ltd. (bike hire and bike tours). He is a founding director of the European Cycle Logistics Federation and advisor to the EU funded CycleLogistics Ahead project. Richard has specialised in sustainable transport innovation for over 37 years in many settings: low-floor buses to cleaner fuels (EV, CNG); car sharing clubs to personalised journey planning and residential travel plans. Richard is non-executive chairman of public transport specialists, The TAS Partnership; independent chairman of West Yorkshire Ticketing Co. Ian worked in medical sales before moving to Indonesia for 7 years to work in community development. On returning to the UK he has worked in the voluntary sector, and as a Cycle Instructor, before his latest role as a ‘reluctant entrepreneur’ growing and developing a cyclelogistics business.
